My role at TAE is one in which I can provide input and can hear the brilliant ideas of other staff in a very open, eager and intimate setting, since we are just starting out. I appreciate being a part of TAE, helping as best I can to keep the company going while expanding my knowledge of similar innovative projects that inspire me to think big as well.

VP, Global Engagement: A couple of years ago I saw the video on Ghana’s waste crisis. I was shocked by the amount of garbage and more so the people living in that area. Instantly, I thought how can I help, how can I make a difference. I joined TAE because I thought environmental issue is a global issue and it will need an organization like TAE to reach under-developed region to foster the communication and action that will aid in building a more sustainable environment for all people from all regions.

"I think the earth has enough resources to sustain everyone on our planet, however it requires us to look at our planet as a community that care for each other and must be willing to go without excess."

Mouhaman Kola

Newsletter Writer: As a recent graduate with an Environmental Management degree, I was looking for an opportunity to contribute to the solutions of the various environmental problems that have detrimental effects on our well being and the surrounding environment. Then I came across Dr. Kwame, who was just visiting a friend in Washington, DC . We snatched a few minutes conversation that resulted in me knowing about TAE. I later went through TAE website, and was very impressed by what it stands for and the accomplished projects. I decided without hesitation to volunteer for TAE and be part of this great team of people who have been making difference in peoples’ lives. I thank all TAE members, and Dr. Kwame in particular for the opportunity.
